Bark Discovery — Paws, Play, and Endless Wagging
Bark Discovery

Privacy policy

Effective October 9, 2026. This policy describes the Bark Discovery informational website and its private keyword-research development prototype. The research app is not open for public registration.

Information we access

The prototype uses Google OAuth to connect an authorized Google Ads account. It accesses account identifiers and account details needed to identify the connected account. Keyword requests use the service phrases and geographic targets selected for research. Google may return keyword suggestions, historical search estimates, competition and bid estimates.

OAuth access and refresh tokens are used to authenticate requests. Bark Discovery does not receive or store Google account passwords. The Google Ads OAuth permission is broad enough to view and manage accounts; the current prototype uses it for read-only account checks and keyword research.

How information is used

Connected account information is used to authorize the prototype and select the account for research. Keywords and locations are sent to Google Ads to retrieve requested insights. Results are used for developing and evaluating the keyword-research tool. The prototype does not create campaigns, change budgets, or purchase advertising.

Storage and security

The current development prototype stores OAuth credentials and research responses locally on the developer’s computer, separately from this public website. Credentials are not intentionally published in website files or displayed in research results. Access is limited to development and troubleshooting. No online security measure is infallible.

Sharing and service providers

Google processes authorization and Google Ads API requests. Hostinger hosts this informational website and may process normal server logs, such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information and access times. Emails sent to the developer are processed by the email provider. Bark Discovery does not sell Google user data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.

Retention and deletion

Development credentials are retained while the connection is needed. Research responses are retained for development and evaluation and deleted when no longer needed. You may request deletion of connected-account data or development credentials by emailing barkdiscovery@gmail.com. Hosting providers may retain server logs according to their own policies.

Your choices

You may revoke Bark Discovery’s Google access from your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revocation stops future authenticated requests using that authorization. To request deletion of locally stored credentials, research responses or correspondence, contact the developer. Revoking access does not automatically remove previously stored results.

Website keyword search

The keyword form sends your keyword and US ZIP code to our Hostinger server to check research availability. While server authorization is pending, no Google keyword request is made. Search inputs are not saved by the application. Hosting access logs may record connection details. Before enabling live Google queries, we will update this policy to explain the server connection and any changes to retention.

Cookies and analytics

These informational pages do not include advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts, sign-in widgets or application cookies. Google’s separate authorization pages and hosting infrastructure may operate under their own privacy policies.

Google API user data

Bark Discovery’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Children

Bark Discovery is intended for business research and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes and contact

This policy will be updated before material changes to the app’s data practices or public availability. For privacy questions or requests, email barkdiscovery@gmail.com.
